As a dance teacher and Patron at one of UK’s most renowned vocational schools, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, Adam Cooper has first hand knowledge of the difficulties facing graduates in the step from student to professional. One of the biggest challenges facing graduates at the end of training is securing an agent to assist them with finding and applying for companies and auditions. With a growing number of vocational colleges in the country and a lack of agency positions, graduates are struggling to be seen just at the point where they need most support and encouragement. ACTA aims to bridge that gap by taking on clients with the aim of helping them get seen in auditions, and ultimately getting them jobs.
Adam has a vast experience in the worlds of dance, musical theatre, stage, opera, tv and film and with the connections he has amassed over the years he has a valuable short cut to casting directors and creatives. By handing out a very limited number of spaces to the most talented and committed individuals that Adam has personal experience of working with, he can guarantee the quality of his clients to perspective employers. This makes ACTA a unique and exciting new agency committed to guiding the careers of both young and experienced artists in the professional world.
